Close up of a passion flower; white and purple flowers with a distinctive corona; a shallow saucer shape, producing at its upper border five sepals, five petals, and many threadlike purple outgrowths from the tube, which constitute the most conspicuous and beautiful part of the flower, called the corona. The corona is the most beautiful part of the flower and it is made up of many threadlike or membranous outgrowths from the tube.

Passion Flower (Passiflora)

Two pine cones hanging from a branch on the Pinus wallichiana tree, they are long and slender cones that can vary in length from 16 to 32 cm. The cones are slightly banana-shaped and are brown in colour. Imagine holding a long, slender object that is slightly curved like a banana. It has a rough texture due to the thin scales that cover its surface. As you run your fingers along its length, you can feel the individual scales and the seeds nestled between them. The cone is light in weight and has a faint, woody scent.
